Objectives
To enrich my knowledge as a professional Coach and work to improve the athletic progress of individuals in a team and individual setting whilst improving personally as a top level Coach and athlete in the field of Wheelchair Basketball.
Athletic History
I began playing and excelling at multiple sports at the age of ten, I was called up to the senior Great Britain Women’s Wheelchair basketball team for my debut against Ireland at Stoke Mandeville at thirteen years old and then went to my first Paralympic Games at the age of fourteen.
I was the first woman to play in and achieve all of the Domestic honours in the UK league for men and women. I was the youngest and first woman to play in the men’s first division National league and the first woman to Coach a men’s Premier league team in the UK. From the chronological history annotated in this sporting CV it is clear that Wheelchair Basketball has been inextricably linked to my life for its entirety. To this day I remain the highest decorated athlete in the whole of the United Kingdom on all levels of Basketball both Wheelchair and able bodied.
